About Hayley Hinchliffe
Born in Wangaratta, Victoria, Hayley ‘s early years were spent on the family farm “Collina Park” situated at Bundalong , east of Yarrawonga Victoria. It was here that she learnt to ride, commencing on the front of the saddle with her mum , then on to her trusty little Timor pony, “Snoopy”
Snoopy was a been there done that little chap, so nothing fazed him which gave her great confidence.
Hayley's Father (Wayne Hinchliffe) grew up around horses, being foremen for Tommy Woodcock (Phar Laps Trainer) in his younger years.
Wayne started Campdrafting when Hayley and her older brother (Hayden) were only very young, they had to stay at home until the age of eight to start themselves.
In the first few year of starting Campdrafting there were some great little riders kicking about but with more experience and a few good horses under Hayley’s belt the blue ribbons, trophy rugs and belt buckles were coming in.
In 2004 David and Barry Murphy of Mobile Stock Horse Stud asked Hayley if she would like to ride their good open mare Mobile Duet in the juvenile drafts. In 2005 Murphy's were taking horses to the ASH Nationals at Albury, Hayley had never ridden in ASH events before , when asked and very nerves but keen to go she said yes . She was entered in both the Juvenile and the Ladies events. After not placing in the Ladies she was thrilled with her run in the Juvenile with a winning score of 91 on Mobile Duet, the Murphy’s couldn’t get the smile off her face.
In the winter months of 2007 Hayley joined the GVFH (Goulburn Valley Foxhounds) as an off season horse sport as campdraft run through the summer months. Soon after starting hunting she became the number 1 whip. Along with other members of the GVFH Hayley attended Barastoc Horse of the year 2008 with great success winning intermediate hunter plate and the pairs intermediate plate.
In 2010 Hayley Exhibited at Equitana with the Family companied Stallion JayTee Thunder, doing whip cracking and stock horse patterns. He was trained/broken on the family farm at the time of the event he was only 4yrs old.
Hayley Started Doublehaich Stud in 2009.
In 2011 we breed our Doublehaich Whataclassic to start our breeding program.
From there Hayley has had some great clients bring horses to her; she is always getting complements on how well her horses go and is prepared witch makes her proud of what she works up to behind the scenes.
From here on Hayley aims to keep her name strong and build a bigger & better
